The two moulded finishes compared, and the one question that decides.
Debossed lettering is pressed down into the band; embossed lettering is raised above it. Both are formed in the mould, both last the life of the band, and both cost about the same, so the choice is not about quality. It is about how you want the design to read, and whether you want colour in it.
A debossed band keeps a smooth silhouette; the design sits in shadow inside the band and reads quietly, which suits corporate bands and understated causes. An embossed band puts the design under the fingertips; it reads as more crafted and is chosen when the band itself is the keepsake.
Only a debossed recess can be flooded with a second colour, which is the colour-filled finish: the contrast of a printed band with the permanence of a moulded one. If your design needs its lettering in a second colour that must survive daily wear, that combination answers the question for you. Embossed lettering stays the colour of the band itself, relying on light and shadow.
Priced the same as each other; colour fill adds one production step. At a distance, colour fill is the most legible, plain deboss the least, with emboss between them. A single design can combine them, raising a logo while recessing the wording, which we set up at the proof stage. For how both are physically formed, see how the bands are made.

Questions
Four things set the price: the finish, the number of colours, the quantity and the delivery destination. The price per band falls steeply as the quantity rises, the minimum run is 250 bands, a 50% deposit is paid on proof approval, and we do not charge VAT. The wristband prices page explains each cost in detail, and a written quotation for your exact order arrives within one working day.
A silicone wristband lasts for years of daily wear. The finish decides how long the design itself stays sharp: debossed and embossed designs are moulded into the band and last its whole life, while printed designs sit on the surface and wear first. The detail is on our wristband lifespan page.
Yes. Segmented bands carry defined blocks of colour, two-tone bands use a different colour inside the band from the outside, and several print colours can be applied to a single band. If you have a specific combination in mind, describe it on your quote request.
